During the campaign, Trump had promised the American people that his businesses would be placed in a blind trust. He’s tweeted since the election that his companies would do “no new deals” during his presidency.
Both of these vows, America learned Wednesday, are false.
The president-elect apparently lied throughout the campaign claiming he would put his business interests into a blind trust. Voters made their selections based on Trump’s promises. Now he refuses to create a trust and offers a an alternative plan which does not truly separate himself from his business. Who does this really benefit? Please add your comments below.
