Mystery death of ex-KGB chief linked to MI6 spy’s dossier on Donald Trump, found dead in back of his car.
Oleg Erovinkin, a former general in the KGB and its successor the FSB, was found dead in the back of his car in Moscow on Boxing Day in mysterious circumstances.
Erovinkin was a key aide to Igor Sechin, a former deputy prime minister and now head of Rosneft, the state-owned oil company, who is repeatedly named in the dossier. More details available here from The Telegraph, UK.
So the usual way for Russia to deal with characters they’re not fond of is to simply make them disappear, sometimes assassinate them or give them plutonium soup. Now it seems that Oleg Erovinkin has mysteriously turned up dead in the back seat of his car.
Trump reportedly is engaged today in his first official phone call with Vladimir Putin. We’re guessing they’re not discussing if Oleg was attempting to drive from the back seat, so what do you think is going on? Does Russia have “kompromat” on Trump? Please add your comments below.
